Convenient location, close to shops and restaurants. The hotel offers a clean and well-maintained environment with friendly staff making you feel comfortable and welcome. Its complimentary breakfast is a great perk. Rooms are spacious and well-furnished, with beautiful views of the city to wake up to.

The hotel's uphill location can be a challenge for visitors with limited mobility. Wi-Fi can be unreliable and slow at times, making it difficult to maintain connectivity.

We are a couple from Europe and are used to harsh winters. But, this hotel was not prepared for the winters Darjeeling faces. It was so cold that we were trying to stay outside as much as possible for the 2 days we stayed here. It is only a cheap option but not for comfort at all.

The service was impeccably good, everyone was very nice and accomodating to our needs. We arrived at sunset and asked where a nice viewpoint might be for us to take in Kanchendjunga, and they promptly directed us to their beautiful terrace that was undergoing construction. The view from there provides a wonderful 180 view of the valley and the mountain towering over the foothills. That night, we asked them to put a view chairs up on the roof for us and they did so happily even though it was very cold by Indian standards. Overall, we had a good experience and would come back - tip them well!

The only source of heating are bright heat lamps which emit too much light to sleep properly with them on. The rooms thus can get quite chilly in the evenings. There was a great deal of renovations going on as well, so afternoon naps are out of the question (even though you'll likely wake up at 430 am for the sunrise). Presumably this wont be a problem once they finish, and I'll love to see the place once they are done.

The staff is friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service. The basic amenities are well-maintained and the rooms on the higher floors offer a stunning view of the surrounding high mountain. The breakfast served is delicious and has a good variety of options.

The only area for improvement is the availability of more breakfast items.

It was clean and room service was prompt.

The room was colder inside than on the street, the hot water was unreliable and only available for a few minutes when it was running, a portable heater for the room was 300 rupees per day, the wi-fi was as unreliable as the hot water, the staff was noisy well into the night, and the staff refused to use the credit card terminal for our stay.

We paid on credit card, then were asked for pass-port copies, which is standard practice, but then passport photographs, didn't like this! felt like we were handing too much of identity over! The room was very damp, no heating at all! Also very very loud up-until midnight. WIFI doesn't reach to rooms so reception is the only place!

The room service was prompt and the hotel was kept very clean. I also really appreciated the complimentary breakfast and the kind staff who made our stay enjoyable. The location of the hotel was also great, with easy access to the nearby mall area and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

The bathroom facilities left something to be desired and could use some updating. the steep incline of the road leading up to the hotel could be difficult for some guests, especially those with mobility issues.

Thirdly, the basic amenities in the room, including the comfortable bed and clean bathroom, were all in good condition. Lastly, the breakfast served was delicious and had a good variety of options.

This hotel offers great value for money, with reasonable prices and attention to detail. The location on the high mountain gives you a stunning view of the surroundings. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, ensuring that all basic amenities are met. The rooms on the 4th floor are spacious and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing stay. Moreover, the breakfast provided is worth every penny, with a delicious spread of vegetarian options.

All in all, I had a fantastic stay and couldn't find any major flaws.
